Come and join the fun mornings of rugby at camps provided for all players U8 - U13 girls and boys age groups. Being a member of any of the clubs is not a prerequisite of attending the camps. If rugby is your thing or you're interested in trying rugby these mornings are definitely for you. The camps are open to members of London Scottish Rugby Club and London Irish Rugby Club, and also any young rugby player interested in rugby and wishing to develop their game.
Players will receive coaching over a three hour period 9.30am - 12.30pm. This will be broken into three 45 minute sessions. Each structured session will look to develop, understanding, knowledge and ability, in isolated skills or wider game concepts. Sessions will be engaging and bring the best out of players through coaching, conditioned games or scenario based activities.
Players will be registered at 9.30am at the main sign in point. They will be placed with their age group coach remaining with them through the morning. At the end of the session the age group coach will sign your child out to you. This will allow you to ask any quick questions and the coach inform you of what was covered during the sessions.
The coaching team includes experienced coaches and players who will share the knowledge of what has made them successful. All coaches are currently working in rugby clubs and local schools. They will work with players in a relatable way in many different aspects of the game.
